Privacy notice
This notice explains what information the official Harris J website collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Contact form. If you send an enquiry we receive your name, email address, organisation (if given) and your message. We use these only to reply to your enquiry and keep them no longer than needed for that purpose. Messages are delivered by email through our email provider.
Show requests. If you request a show we receive the city and country you suggest, plus your email address and message if you choose to give them. We use these only to plan future concerts and, if you gave an email, to reply to you.
Analytics. If enabled, we use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and do not collect personal data. They record anonymous, aggregate information such as pages viewed and which streaming links are clicked.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies and embedded content
This site does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies. Videos and the Spotify player are only loaded when you press play or “Load player”. At that point YouTube (via its privacy-enhanced mode) or Spotify may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.
Links to streaming services and social networks take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@harrisj.co.uk or use the contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
